An ISO 20000-1 certification helps to deliver
- Demonstrate best practice
- Reduce costs
- Stakeholder confidence
ISO/IEC 20000-1 standard is based on the work done by the Office of Government Commerce (OGC) and the internationally accepted IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) so you can be confident that real benefits will be brought to the way your IT Services are managed.
The basis of the standard is the Plan-Do-Check Act cycle common with other management system standards which enables you to operate an integrated system and reduce duplication and costs.
HOW TO GET CERTIFICATION?
ISO/IEC 20000 is an important international standard for IT service providers. Implementation and certification will improve your business processes and practices. It will reassure your customers that your company is efficient, reliable and trustworthy.
Any organisation wishing to be formally certified against the scheme will need to be assessed by a Registered Certification Body (RCB). Once the requirements of ISO/IEC 20000 have been satisfied, the RCB will issue a certificate of conformance and the organisation will be eligible to use the SMF ISO/IEC 20000 logo as a sign of their achievement.
